Lvl 70 Druid and still get an education?
Yes ma’am, you can! I saw this ad last year on Facebook and LOVED it. I laughed and laughed. Only I thought it was ridiculous and irresponsible of them to advertise any education in this way.

In principle, my heart still agrees. But in actuality, I’m proud that my druid is level 70 – the perks are great, flight form gives me the freedom to explore the landscape and get as much “wow” into my game as possible. Ok sorry, bad pun.

The getting an education and being 70 at the same time for me is more of a happy and accidental coincidence related to relocation to the States and access to civilization – not that there isn’t civilization in Canada, we just weren’t near it! – as evidenced by high speed internet, a wireless network in the apartment, institutions of higher education in the vicinity of our residence, and a large allocation of time dedicated to playing. (Can you tell I’ve been writing care plans all night? hehe)

  • "Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." — C.S. Lewis
