Pretty pictures

November 3

Any fans of Samurai Jack? We watched as many episodes as we could get, back when we were in Ontario. It’s the classic battle of good and evil. My sweet husband found a blog of one of the show’s artists. Here’s a post full of art pieces that show off this series’ distinctive art style. Soooooo pretty!

Reminds me of how jealous I was of the Mr. Fantastic and the Incredible Woman when they got married in an small Asian ceremony at the end of the last Fantastic Four movie.

Oh! Be sure to click on the ones you like most to see the full versions. The one almost all the way to the bottom with the cherry blossom lined driveway leading to a red-roofed temple(?) is my favorite. :)

  • "Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." — C.S. Lewis
